EBO Expands into the Gulf Region, Appoints Mike Frayne to Lead Growth

EBO is accelerating its international expansion into the Gulf, meeting rising demand for digital AI solutions that enhance patient experience and streamline healthcare operations. To spearhead this growth, Mike Frayne joins as Head of Sales and Business Development for the Middle East.

Mike brings over 12 years of board-level healthcare leadership across the GCC, including senior roles as COO of Saudi Medical Care Group, founder CEO of Aviv Clinics (a DP World company), and Group CEO of a hospital and clinic network spanning Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the UK.

EBO Appointed to NHS SBS Framework

EBO has been appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) framework for Patient Communication, Engagement and Hybrid Mail Solutions. This framework allows NHS organisations to procure EBO’s services through a compliant and efficient route, subject to individual call-off contracts.

💡North East London NHS Trust Shortlisted for the HSJ Digital Awards 2026

We are proud to announce that EBO’s AI solution for North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) has been shortlisted as a finalist for the ‘Unlocking Productivity and Efficiency with Digital’ category at the 2026 HSJ Digital Awards.
NELFT partnered with EBO to develop 'Harper', EBO's AI-powered appointment management solution. Co-designed with frontline teams and fully integrated with Rio EPR, Harper provides patients with a simple, conversational interface to book, reschedule, cancel, or view appointments 24/7 - confidently and independently. 
Since deployment across two early adopter services, Harper has delivered a 25% reduction in missed appointments (DNAs), a 91% patient satisfaction rate, and £169,ooo yearly DNA savings.
